Frederieke Sanders Taylor was a Dutch-born arts leader, gallerist, and advisor whose career was defined by visionary cultural administration and sustained support for artists. She held leadership roles across major New York institutions, including serving as the Executive Director of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (1980–86), Director of the MacDowell Colony (1987–89), and Director of the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture (1989–91). A former president of ArtTable, she was also an active board member and advisor to numerous arts organizations, contributing significant expertise in development, governance, and public access to the arts.
