Dublin 8, D08 FW31, Ireland
From February 26 to February 28, the Irish Museum of Art (IMMA) & NCAD present a Symposium that brings together a diverse range of feminist-led practices and voices, to think through the imperatives for a feminist-led art resource centre on the island of Ireland. TFI’s Archives + Programs Manager, Allison Elliott, will present her talk The Archive as Praxis: Feminist Ethics, Information Activism, and Collaborative Memory, which explores collaborative archiving as a form of feminist information activism, drawing on the Pop-Up Memory Lab program developed by TFI.

How shall we do this? aims to capture a series of propositions and findings – rooted in best practice – of what a feminist-informed arts resource centre could look like specific to the island of Ireland, and to create a network of international relationships with other like-minded initiatives, nationally and internationally. All talks will be recorded and made openly accessible on the Digital Repository of Ireland.

Invited contributors include:
Alex Martinis Roe: Artist and Researcher, Melbourne
Éireann and I Archive: Beulah Ezeugo & Joselle Ntumba
Glasgow Women’s Library (GWL): Adele Patrick
